About us
As a child, Dominique was already adventurous and attracted to nature and the forest. Sitting still was not for him. Together with a handful of friends he loved to romp, climb, play soldier, tarzan or robin hood. The forest was his playing field and the trees formed the background. “We were knights and built a castle with watchtower as our fortress high in the trees. We felt as free as a bird and time stood still. ”
Years passed by. Dominique became an engineer and met Karin. She was a full-time nurse and they both loved to travel regularly to escape the ‘rat race’ of our society. Recharging and relaxing in nature were primary. The smell of the forest, the chirping of the birds and the charm of staying in a wooden cabin in France made Dominique relive his childhood memories. After a hut adventure they decided together with their two sons, Kobe and Seppe, to realize their dream in the Belgian Ardennes.
